This is my submission for the Dreamer FanArtPollooza 2011 contest. I was rereading “The Dreamer” comic while watching the trailer for the upcoming “Hunger Games” movie, and I was inspired to draw this especially when reading the part where Bea’s uncle Hercules is going to style a dress for her to wear at the Halloween Dance with Ben (issue 9).

In short,
Bea = Katniss
Hercules = Cinna

The outfits of the top two panels are inspired from issue 9. Bea’s dress and Ben’s outfit + cape are inspired from issues 9 and 11.
